The 6th Chevauxleger, having recovered from an earlier reverse, attempt to halt the French 8th Hussars, but the gloaming is coming.
The umpires would have offered the light, but we don't do that sort of thing anymore, so the Duckworth-Lewis Method is employed to call an Allied win.
...and everyone lived happily ever after...err...no, wait...the battle raged on either flank.
