Stranglers - IV

On this date in 1980, The Stranglers released a U.S.-only album called IV. It was a collection of tracks from their fourth album, The Raven, plus various B sides and unreleased tracks. The album was released to help promote their upcoming U.S. tour. The Surrey, U.K. punk/post punk band is still performing and recording, though without original lead singer, Hugh Cornwell, who left in 1990.
