Mangia Monday

I was better about both cooking and taking photos of what I cooked last week. Now that fall is here it's time for soups and comfort food and homemade stuff instead of quick foods because it's too hot to cook!  So here are some of the meals and foods we had last week...

Fresh corn on the cob, cukes and tomatoes from the garden and baked chicken with Everything Bagel seasoning on top...

Hot meatball subs and corn on the cob...

Scrambled eggs and beans... have you ever had that for dinner?  My mom used to make it once in a while when I was growing up.  These were made because I forgot to take meat out of the freezer...

Peach cobbler... I bought peaches from Sam's and they were huge and juicy and sweet...

On Friday when we were installing the living room floor hubby had to go to town to get something and he brought back Taco Bell box of nachos for lunch. I had seen the commercial and said that they looked good.  He's so good about remembering stuff like that. Oh, they were good!

Cooked up the last of the big tomatoes from the garden and made marinara...

...and made baked spaghetti and meatballs for dinner last night.  Yum!

What's happening in your kitchen?  Are you cooking or baking more now that the temperatures are going down and the days are shorter?

Stay safe and well
Thanks for dropping by...
