Happy Halloween To You!!!

*Happy Halloween to all, I hope everyone has an amazing day today. Have fun and be safe! As my treat to you, I have a few videos that I think deserve to be watched. I got excited, I smiled, and got a little shocked. I may not have a review up this coming Tuesday, got two exams that day, but the next one will be Taylor Swift's "Speak Now". Enjoy!

A couple of weeks ago I shared the first single off lead Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger's upcoming debut solo album. "Poison" is a catchy, club-pumping song that I think will be a hit for the artist who has amazing vocal abilities. Yesterday, the music video for the single hit the web and I must say that it is one of my favorites at the moment. Scherzinger takes on the role of a superhero/villian, reminds me of Catwoman. The video is very sexy, but at the same time edgy and different. The Pussycat Doll kicks serious butt in the video and looks good doing it. My favorite thing about it though is the fact that it plays out like a mini movie. I feel that the video justs adds to the potential that the song can have once it is officially released. Scherzinger has everything it takes to be an amazing solo artist, but for some reason she has not yet found a sound that suits her well. This song and video are good steps in the right direction and I am rooting for her success. How do you feel about the music video for "Poison", good, bad, or do you not care?

Also released on the same day was the anticipated video for Katy Perry's third single from her latest album, "Firework". Even though it is isn't a great choice for a single, I will admit that the video gives it a little more depth and meaning. It gives me a new perspective for it. The video is done beautifully and I think it is Perry's best to date. From watching the video I feel a message behind the entire project. From the kiss in the club, to the little girl walking out of the hospital, I think it is trying to say to just be yourself. It is a message I think everyone needs to take into consideration. From beginning to end, the video had my attention and I think it is well done. "Firework" is a colorful experience that shows off a different side of Perry, which I think fans are starting to love now. The music video shows an interpretation of the lyrics that changed the way that I viewed it. Is Katy Perry's "Firework" a success?

Last but not least, well last when put with Scherzinger and Perry, singer Brandon Hilton released what I think is his first music video for his new single "Glamour Zombie". The song was on my "Songs to Check Out" list at one point and I must say that it is growing on me, I think it is the chorus. The music video does not really do anything for the track which is a disappointment. I pictured something totally different and dark for the video but maybe a small budget kept those plans from happening. The video is a bit comical and you never even see the face of the one that is singing. Hilton may be a new artist but I feel if he wanted to break out this would have been the video to do it with. The song is dark and sexy and the video really is not. What do you think?

*Happy Halloween to all! This is my favorite holiday of the month. I am doing my best interpretation of Adam Lambert, hope to make him proud. Enjoy!
