ELF post their new AW collection of nudes and essential tools

I do believe that when a product works, it works. Price is not always a sign that a product works amazingly. Okay, it can be a sign that expensive ingredients have gone into it or that the packaging is made of limited edition gold speckled wonderment but does it work???

I have heard wonderful things about E.L.F over the years. One of the most impressive things about ELF is the price point. All of the things featured in this post are £10 or under and from the AW collection as well.

Proof that you don't have to spend a fortune on cosmetics. I do use a mix of cosmetics myself. I have some expensive cosmetics and some cheaper brands. I find it helps to identify where you can spend and where you can save. I know that eyeliner or eyeshadow is not something I worry about spending money on. I have a cheap smokey palette which works wonderfully. However, I do not mess around with my skincare and I believe in spending money on lipstick. This line of thinking is why I've bought three Tom Ford lipsticks at £45 a pop.

Brushes I am on the fence with. I do believe that sometimes more expensive can be better. However, no brush is built to last forever. I believe having a mix could work. I have Tom Ford brushes in a pot with Real Techniques which I bought in a set from Boots. I don't mind the price but the quality is  massive thing. I believe you can see quality in something straight away. What worries me here is the online part of this, in that I need to see a brush in person to gauge the effectiveness. Although, £6 per brush means I'm not too worried if it doesn't work out.

I love this one!
